Due to changing exchange rates, the cost for listing and selling on Ebay is different between Ebay.com, ebay.co.uk, ebay.com.au, etc.

Free to post and free to sell. A lot of people do not have paypal though so I have had them mail me actual money for 8 buck items or checks and then sent them the item. It is great
You cannot post internationally but people can search internationally if they are looking for that item
i think craiglist is cheaper and local with ebay you need to pay shipping fees
